Travel – Carmacks to just outside of Ross River (Yukon Territory) – 145 miles.
We stopped in the active mining town of Faro with population of 500. The small town had very few streets with a large park and a vistor interactive center in the middle of town. We drove down one street with a greenbelt and saw a fox in the field.
We stayed the night in the Lapie Canyon campground where there are 20 campsites.
