Day 11 – Leaving the Yukon Territory and Arriving in Alaska

06/02/2022

Lake Creek Campground, Yukon to Moon Lake State Campground, Alaska – 169 miles on the Alaska Highway

This stretch of the highway was lined with green grasses, purple flowers, and dramatic mountain views, but also had rough road conditions with bumps and potholes and roadwork in progress with gravel for miles and miles. Some roadwork created one way traffic which created stops up to 20 minutes waiting, but still beautiful and amazing to be on the Alaska Highway.
